Description:
The FSQA Tech is responsible for monitoring and implementing FSQA support programs. Also responsible for doing patty weight verification, checking the quality and consistency of products, and verifying labels meet up with USDA/FDA standards and regulations. Will also be responsible for finished product audits as well as other audits as needed. HACCP Program Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures Pest Control Good Manufacturing Practices Approved Supplier Program Foreign Material Control Plant Sanitation Chemical Control Product Quality Assurance FSQA Customer Complaints Food Defense and Security Raw Material Auditing Program Safe Quality Foods – SQF Programs

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
One to 3 years meat and/or seafood industry (as appropriate) experience at a federal CFIA/FDA meat and/or seafood processing plant (as appropriate). Incumbent must demonstrate ability to write reports, basic business correspondence, as well as to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers. Incumbent must demonstrate ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Worked in GFSI, either in BRC or SQF scheme
