- Prepare geotechnical project work scopes, budgets, and proposals
- Plan and coordinate field exploration programs including site reconnaissance
- Perform soil and rock classification
- Plan and coordinate geotechnical laboratory testing programs
- Perform geotechnical engineering analysis, calculations, and computer modeling
- Develop geotechnical engineering design parameters and recommendations
- Prepare geotechnical engineering reports and deliverables
- Manage geotechnical engineering projects, including project schedules, budgets, and invoicing
- Communicate with existing and potential clients
- Communicate with other team members and other departments
Qualifications:
2-3 years of professional field experience working for an consulting engineering firm
BS Degree in Civil, Geotechnical or related degree
EIT is strongly preferred
Salary (Based on Experience): $65,000-75,000
