Description:
- train new employees on bench work
- complete histology preparation for bone marrow samples, blood samples and slides that are delivered from other clients
- ensure that workflow is complete in timely manner
- communicate with pathologists if any issue arises
- complete inventory management
- teach back SOPs for team
- instrument maintenance on monthly basis
- oversee team of 5 histology technicians on shift
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- BS in Life Sciences or Medical Technology
- Microtomy, staining, embedding and slide preparation experience
- Candidates will ideally have experience on Leica Bond III, Ventana Bench Mark Ultra and Dako Link Autostainer
