HPLC Chemist

Actalent is currently hiring for an HPLC Chemist for a client in the Irvine, CA area. The ideal candidate must have 1-2 years of experience using HPLC in a GMP regulated environment.

Description:

• Execute Sample prep, testing and interpret data for analysis for HPLC assay
• Pipette, transfer and serial dilutions of chemicals and solutions
• Accurate weigh and measure of reagents, standards and samples
• Adjust maintain and calibrate balances, repeaters, pH meters, etc.
• Troubleshoot HPLC, UV-Cis, Spectrophotometer, gas chromatography and dissolution instruments
• Prepare mobile phases, media, and standards
• Restock chemistry lab supplies
• Author and assist in the execution of method validations, test protocols, IQOQPQs.
• Author and assist with OOS/OOT investigations, CAPAs, NCMRs, and SCARs
• Assist and lead investigations related to chemistry

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Chemistry

1-2 years of HPLC experience in Medical Device or Pharmaceutical Setting

FDA and GMP Experience
