What are the responsibilities and job description for the Industrial Engineer position at Actalent?
Job Description
In this role, the individual will be working for a 3 month contract but the project could last 2 years. This will be to bring in a new line. In this role the individual will be doing the following:
- Evaluating time studies
- Assessing current cap
- Performing Line Balances for new target
- Merge line balancing with material flow to complete products
- FlexSim simulation studies (iterations) AutoCAD -update 2D plant layout SAP user experience Value Steam Mapping Excel documentation updates
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an industrial engineer
- Minimum 2 years of time study experience
- Minimum 2 years of being on a manufacturing floor and bringing in capital equipment/lines
