What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lab Associate position at Actalent?
Description:
Warehouse setting and lab setting.
First shift, 7am-3pm.
- Supports lab and warehouse operations, mixed responsibilities between the two areas.
- Primarily will focus on warehouse duties including shipping/receiving, inventory management, forklift operation and general light QC duties.
- The position will also support lab as needed based on work flow.
- Lab responsibilities include routine laboratory testing, following the relevant company’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and methods.
- Validate performance on methods as required.
- Test basic applicable standards and customer-specific protocols.
- Ensure compliance with all required local and federal safety processes and procedures.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Prior laboratory experience is a significant plus, associates degree in sciences ideal
- Individual for this role must be flexible to assigned duties as they will need to adapt between lab duties and duties in warehouse as needed.
- Ideal candidate would have forklift certification as well.
