Actalent is seeking a Lab Supervisor who to upstart a lab in the Hollywood, FL area!
Job Description
The supervisor is responsible for day-to-day supervision or oversight of the laboratory operation and personnel performing testing and reporting test results. The supervisor is responsible for fulfilling the responsibilities of the director as assigned and for monitoring compliance with all applicable regulations.
In addition, the supervisor shall fulfill the following responsibilities:
● Performs the duties of a technologist in the specialty or specialties in which training was completed
● Assigns, if needed, performance of his or her direct supervision responsibilities to licensed technologists, however, the supervisor remains responsible for ensuring that direct supervision is properly performed. The assignment of responsibilities from the supervisor to the technologist must be written and specific
● Evaluates the competency of technologist and technicians and assures that the staff maintain their competency to perform test procedures and reporter test results promptly, accurately, and proficiently.
Requirements
3 years experience as Lab Molecular Technologist
FL ASCP license
MT license
