What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lab Tech position at Actalent?
Actalent is looking for Entry Level Chemical Lab Technicians to join our team in Pasadena, TX!
Job Description:
- Test Canisters of Freon 41 and other gas mixtures to ensure quality.
- Troubleshoot issues for clients using Gas Chromatography.
- Move canisters of various sizes to and from laboratory and warehouse for testing of gases.
- Develops new GC methods or optimize existing GC methods.
- Performs basic troubleshooting for common GC and lab instrument issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors of Science in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Applied Science, or a life science OR 1 year working in a laboratory setting and an Associate of Science.
- Gas Chromatography experience is a PLUS.
Additional Information:
- M-F, first shift.
- $20-$22/HR, pay weekly
