Actalent is seeking a Lab Technician for a 3-4 month contract in Wood River, NE!

Details:
- Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm
- $18/hour
Responsibilities:
- Work on-site to provide start-up support through various laboratory activities including sampling, physical and chemical testing, data trending, and performance reporting.
- Perform analytical testing such as HPLC and nitrogen combustion analysis.
- Utilize moisture balances and viscometers as well as other support instruments.
- Work with management and client personnel to develop project scopes of work that will be carried out during start-up.
- Record and maintain process-related data.
- Demonstrate the ability to effectively and efficiently communicate across the R&D, engineering, sales and leadership teams and customers.
- Ability to hold him/herself fully accountable for performance measurements and adjust work flow as needed.
- Instills a high quality work environment at all times as well as demonstrates a strong QA/QC process for all R&D and engineering activities.

- Biology, Chemistry, fermentation, ethanol, Lab Technician
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- 6 months of experience working in a laboratory type setting
- Minimum High School Diploma required
