What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lab Technician position at Actalent?
Job Description:
Responsible for testing in-process and finished product samples in refinery lab.
Perform basic wet chemistry testing and utilize equipment such as refractometer, spectrophotometer, HPLC, FTIR, etc.
Troubleshoot and maintain lab equipment.
Prepare and send Certificates of Analysis for finished product shipments.
Utilize company database for test results and reporting.
Generate data for manufacturing process and quality.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in the sciences is preferred.
Basic understanding of chemistry principles and techniques (undergrad labs are okay)
Willingness to learn
Strong attention to detail
