Job Title: Lab Technician

Job Description

Join a leading agricultural processing and food ingredient provider specializing in superior flour and blends. As a Lab Technician, you will conduct laboratory tests and analyze data to support production, quality control, and minor research. Your responsibilities will include testing and analyzing flour, feed, and wheat products to ensure compliance with plant specifications, documenting results in Total Lab Client (TLC), preparing chemical solutions, maintaining and calibrating lab equipment, and adhering to all regulatory standards. You will also complete Certificates of Analyses, support food safety and quality requirements, and perform other duties as needed. This role requires working independently and in collaboration with the lab manager using industry-specific instrumentation.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Mount Vernon, Indiana.

Work Environment

On-site at a clean and regulated smaller lab environment with 5-6 other technicians. This role is for the 2nd shift from 3 pm-11 pm Monday to Friday & every other weekend. Weekend hours are Saturday 7 pm-11 pm, and Sunday 11 pm-7 am. Candidates must be flexible for weekday and weekend work, but can expect an average of 45-50 hours weekly.
