Job Title: Lab Technician

Job Description

The quality technician supports production by testing all incoming materials, processes, and outgoing products, as well as conducting environmental testing. On a daily basis, the quality technician will perform bacterial plating, microbiology, pH testing, use an infrared reader for butter fat and total solids, titratable acidity tests, machine calibration, and weight checks. The technician will conduct lab tests to determine the chemical and physical characteristics or components of ingredients, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure they meet cGMP/FDA specifications. Tests will include titrations, pH meters, micro plating, Epic Charm, and general equipment such as scales and microscopes. The technician will also assist the R&D team in formulating new products occasionally, record test results on standard forms, and write test reports. Additionally, the technician will clean and sterilize all lab equipment, calibrate instruments, follow all SOPs, and adhere to GMP/FDA regulations.
