What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laboratory Data Entry position at Actalent?
Description:
- Work on forensic toxicology team
- Support NY taxi (yellow and black cabs) along with Uber and Lyft drivers in renewing their annual drug screenings
- Organize samples for laboratory preparation
- Specimen handling
- Spanish speaking required due to patient populations served for phone inquiries
- Enter patient information into EMR system
- Provide customer service to patients if errors occur
- Utilize Excel to organize patient information and verify personal information before setting appointments
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Bilingual in spanish
- Medical terminology and laboratory experience preferred
