What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manufacturing Engineer position at Actalent?
Description:
• Identify and troubleshoot processes, materials, or equipment problems to minimize down time and prevention of future issues • Develop or modify existing/new tooling, fixtures, and equipment • Create and maintain CNC programs for manufacturing equipment • Initiate and manage various manufacturing methods and procedures, including documentation of work instructions • Complete time studies for process improvements • Maintain equipment and complete necessary documentation. Perform testing and troubleshoot equipment • Assist in failure analysis, troubleshooting, rework/repair of non-conforming manufactured product to determine root cause. • Perform tests, gather data, and write results/reports • Install and validate equipment to improve yield and/or reduce cycle time • Lead continuous improves and lean manufacturing initiatives • Work on new product installs Complete testing and validation
