What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manufacturing Technician position at Actalent?
- Building of complex mechanical sub-assemblies and final assemblies by interpreting 3D mechanical drawings or verbal instructions and inspecting the assemblies using micrometers, calipers, scales, gages and other inspection type equipment.
- Read and interpret 3D CAD drawings, electrical schematics, plumbing diagrams, BOMs and routings.
- Route wires and cabling through machine and terminate all connections within predetermined paths on the machine.
- Use of hand tools
- Evaluate parts or components for replacement, or upgrade.
- Perform Quality checks on machines during build process.
- Troubleshoot and repair errors found during the assembly cycle.

- 2-year or 4-year degree, or graduation from a technical school.
