Actalent is looking for full-time Mechanical Engineers to support our client, a leading DoD organization, onsite in Syracuse, NY.
We are hiring for multiple roles, ranging from mid-career to experienced.
Responsibilities:
- Technical production support, new design, research, analysis, hands-on build, test, and troubleshooting of equipment.
Qualifications:
- Electronics packaging experience
- Experience with additive manufacturing
- General knowledge of manufacturing methods and metal part fabrication techniques
- PRO-Engineer (CREO) or equivalent (solidworks, autoCAD, inventor)
- Application of finite element analysis to a real-world situation
- An Active US Security Clearance (Secret or higher) OR the ability to obtain an Interim Clearance is required

- Friday’s Off (Schedule is 4, 10 hour days a week)
- Part-time Remote Telework is available: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at the facility in Syracuse, NY. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
