What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mechanical Engineer position at Actalent?
Description:
- Be part of a team that is responsible for the mechanical and piping design of stainless steel food manufacturing equipment for customer orders throughout the whole order process.
- Create 3D models in Autodesk Inventor.
- Create 2D drawings that will be used during internal/external manufacturing.
- Ability to lead projects and drive activities to be on time and per budget
- Assist sales with estimate of new quote activities as required
- Perform and participate in design reviews with the engineering team to evaluate any new designs

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of working experience desired
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or associate degree with appropriate experience
- Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD knowledge required
- SolidWorks knowledge desirable
- Familiarization with Hygienic design, Good Manufacturing
