Medical Assistant
Location: Westerly, RI
Hours: Monday- Friday 8am-4:30pm or 8:30am-5pm (full time)
Pay: $19-$23/hr
Qualifications: Medical Assistant Certification is required along with 0-10 years prior Medical Assistant experience. EPIC experience is preferred.
Job Description:
· Covers front desk duties as well as clinical duties as needed. 75% clinical 25% clerical
· Phlebotomy and injection experience preferred, not required.
· Rooms patients, takes vital signs and writes down the patient's chief complaint.
· Monitors, orders and maintains medical equipment and supplies ensuring they are clean, sterilized, stocked and within expiration dates.
