Description:
Performs microbiological environmental monitoring in a pharmaceutical manufacturing clean room environment. - Conducts Microbiological analysis, documentation and assessment of the results - Responsible for sampling, testing and review of process utilities (e.g. nitrogen, compressed air, pure steam, WFI) - Responsible for conducting and reviewing of routine product in process and finished product tests (sampling, monitoring, LAL, GPT) according to SOPs - Conducts and reviews environmental monitoring and sampling within manufacturing areas - Ensures, documents and prepares materials needed to conduct above tests with respect to expiration dates - Responsible for execution of Laboratory Investigations and Change controls - Responsible for cleaning, maintaining and calibrating devices and equipment - Responsible for disinfecting lab, LF Hoods, autoclave, incubators and other lab equipment’s - Collaborates with contract laboratories whom carry out microbiological testing - Responsible for training of colleagues in the Microbiological department, as well as interdepartmental trainings such as hygienic behavior and gowning qualifications
