Job Title: Microbiology Lab Technician

Job Description

Work in a fast-paced and repetitive environment within the Microbiology lab. Perform laboratory support functions, including stocking shelves, chemical inventory, sweeping floors, and cleaning workspaces. Responsibilities include sample registration for testing orders (weigh, dilute, and incubate samples; test for pathogens), autoclaving, cleaning glassware, maintaining a safe and orderly workstation, and providing documentation support as needed. Adhere to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and follow safety, laboratory, and company S.O.P.s to avoid contamination and create a safe laboratory environment. Communicate with and take direction from a small laboratory team to prioritize workload.
