Immediate Microbiology Technologist position with one of the nation's premier independent physician-governed multispecialty medical groups and is extremely fast growing. They have more than 2,000 providers and over 200 locations in New Jersey and New York. This position is looking for someone with a clinical laboratory science degree, ASCP certification or eligibility, and experience in a microbiology laboratory.
Description:
Work in microbiology laboratory
Read plates
Complete gram stains
Bacteriology
Parasitology
Complete routine urine cultures, throat cultures, and respiratory cultures
Utilize WASP for plating of samples
Identify anaerobes (bacteriology)
Document in LIMS
Complete sensitivity patterns with antibiotics
Skills:
Clinical laboratory testing, Medical laboratory, bacteriology, microbiology, Ascp, parasitology, clia
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
