What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nurse Lead position at Actalent?
Shift:
- 8:00-5:30, Mon-Fri
Description:
- The Nurse Lead will not interface with patients very much; will step in occasionally to help triage/room when short staffed. Primary responsibilities are management administration;
- Schedule is set for MAs and LPNs, but will need to problem solve/pivot staff when there is a call off. Manages a team of 8-10 people.
- Manager vaccine tracking, medication and treatment
- Identify trends in plan of care, identify quality errors
- Coordinate with the Nurse Leads from other locations. Attend Nurse Lead meetings once per month. Will eventually run the meeting along with 1 other lead at least once every other month (they take turns)
- Track inventory/forecast/order medical supplies
- Quarterly and annual performance reviews with MA and LPN staff
- Track PCMH goals (Patient Centered Medical Home)
