Job description:
- Acquaint all patients with the office procedures to which they will be exposed. Inform patients of the purpose of all tests performed, and how they will be affected.
- All technicians at are expected to be capable of scribing for the doctors as part of their daily assignments.
- Perform Visual Acuity, Manual Lensometry, Confrontational Visual Fields, Stereo Testing, Evaluation of Motility, Pupillary Function Tests, Color plates, Applanation Tonometry, Fundus Photography, other tasks specific to physician needs.
- Administrative duties will include keeping exposed lenses, mirrors and prisms clean, maintaining sanitary conditions in diagnostic and procedure rooms as well as keeping them stocked, and maintaining par levels of replacement inventory.
Schedule will be M-F with some Saturdays

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED
Medical Assistant training/certification (preferred)
Medical Assistant experience 2 years (preferred)
Knowledge of Medical Terminology
Knowledge of Electronic Medical Records, Nextgen (preferred)
Spanish bilingual preferred
