A well known medical foundation is looking for Sterilization Techs to join their team in Chicago:
A sterilization technician is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the medical and surgical tools used in hospitals.
Medical instruments must be sterilized to avoid spreading germs and causing infection.
The primary duty of a sterilization technician is the decontamination of surgical instruments, often taking the delicate tools apart for cleaning.
Will decontaminate operating areas and set up equipment for surgical procedures.
Sterilization technician will ensure hospitals comply with regulations, and protect their teams and their patients from spreading germs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Must be Certified as a Sterilization Technician ( CRCST )
Must have 2 years of Sterilization experience with Medical or Surgical equipment
Ideally would have experience working in a hospital, doctors office, or clinic.
