Associate of Science degree from an accredited MLT program REQUIREDAbility to work weekends and evenings is a must, if necessaryMolecular biology: 1 year (Required)Laboratory Experience: 2 years (Required)MLT Certification (Required) OR the ideal candidate will need a Bachelors or Masters in Biology and Chemistry, Microbiology2 years of experience working in a Molecular Lab, REQUIRED - Extraction, Plating, Reporting ASCP or AMT Certified Preferred.Computer skills: knowledge of Microsoft Office and other relevant computer programsAnalytical and numerical skills: ability to perform mathematical calculations (add, subtract, multiply, divide) in different units of measurement; ability to use concepts such as fractions, percentages, and ratiosStrong attention to detailAbility to write correspondence and reportsExcellent organizational skillsAbility to perform physically demanding work such as moving and lifting equipment, standing for long periods of time, etc
