Specialty pharmacy environment:
This is for a Specialty Pharmacy (LRx) program. This role is 100% onsite as of Day 1. Onboard training will be the first two days (up to the first two and half days), anticipated training time for onboarding will be 8:30a.m.-5:00p.m. EST. Program specific training duration is approximately 2 weeks. Shift hours after training are will fall between 6a-6p EST and will be determined after training is completed. Please note, the business center hours are 8a-10p EST and shifts are based on the needs of the business so they may change.
The Pharmacy Shipping Clerk is responsible for various duties related to packing and shipping of pharmaceutical products for Specialty Pharmacy. The Pharmacy Shipping Clerk must adhere to the safety practices of the pharmacy to ensure quality of care for patients. Essential Job Duties: Package product, patient paperwork and any additional materials accurately and efficiently to the manufacturer's requirements. Handle the packaging of hazardous materials/products based on USP 800 guidelines, Demonstrate a moderate level of knowledge and skills in own function, Prioritize and organize own work to meet agreed upon deadlines, Comply with applicable laws, regulations and policies.
Candidates must be able to lift at min 50 lbs. and capable of standing for their entire shift due to volume needs.
