**Physical Substation Designer**

Client is seeking an experienced Substation Designer to join our team in Hamilton, NJ. In this role, you will be responsible for creating critical design deliverables for substation projects, including general arrangement plans, section views, equipment layouts, grounding plans, and bills of material. 

**Responsibilities:**

- Develop comprehensive substation electrical design packages, including general arrangement plans, section views, lightning shielding plans, grounding designs, and conduit/raceway layouts

- Incorporate vendor information into design deliverables as needed

- Coordinate with clients such as PSEG, FirstEnergy, ACE, Con Ed, PPL, and JCP&L on design needs

**Requirements:**

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in physical substation design

- Proficiency in creating section views (elevations) and detailed bills of material

- Expert skills with AutoCAD and MicroStation for 2D drafting and 3D modeling

- Strong knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles for technical plans and models
