What are the responsibilities and job description for the Piping Designer - Remote position at Actalent?
Piping Designer will develop P&IDs for processing plant. This is a remote position with some travel required to plant. Duties include:
- Will walk the facility plan and make hand sketches of piping layout and P&IDs
- Provide estimate and updates to existing drawings and will create new drawings from scratch
- All drawings will be 2D and completed in AutoCAD
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of drafting/designing experience for piping layouts and P&IDs
- Experience with industrial or commercial projects
- Experience with AutoCAD Plant 3D
- Must be able to travel
