Description:
Compounders operate equipment that mixes, grinds, filters, pumps and homogenizes raw materials to produce finished goods compounds. Compounders must be able to pay strict attention to detail since the job requires monitoring equipment, controlling temperatures, and checking for overall consistency in mixes. Compounders must follow standard instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) to measure or weigh dyes, raw materials, and other substances into the mixing equipment.
Compounders are required to take samples of the batches and turn them over to a laboratory for testing and also tasked with filling out paperwork about the compound batches
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Computer skills (efficiency in Office applications but will be using CMS)
Self motivation - role will require constant work and looking for new work when tasks are complete
