Position Summary: The Program Coordinator will work within Product Development to
coordinate the accomplishment of strategic objectives and deliverables for new
assay development.
Essential Job Functions:
· Responsible for coordination, alignment, timeline management, and planning for all process development projects within the Product Development department.
· Collaborates with managers within Product Development, Analytical Development, Clinical Affairs, Quality/Regulatory Compliance, Logistics and Operations to meet strategic development and transfer objectives.
· Works closely with resource managers to ensure project commitments remain on track.
· Works with project managers to monitor the schedules of the projects.
· Schedules meetings, takes minutes and publishes minutes to team.
· Monitors action items and the completion of those action items by team members.
· Monitors project timelines.
· Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables.
· Follows all company environmental, health and safety policies, procedures and guidelines, and conducts work in a safe manner.
· Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Specifications (skills, knowledge, special training, certification, license requirements):
· B.S. in Biological Sciences with minimum of 5 years of laboratory experience, preferably in the diagnostic or pharmaceutical industries.
· minimum of 4 years of project management experience.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills with both technical and non-technical personnel.
· Immunoassay development experience desirable.
· Manufacturing and Quality Control experience desirable.
· Ability to write clear, concise technical reports and attention to detail is essential.
· Must be detail-oriented and thorough.
· Excellent organizational skills.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
· Ability to work with various software packages.
· Ability to make presentations to various groups of individuals.
