Project Controls Engineer

This person needs to have high-level experience with the ability to perform all technical tasks, along with managing multiple projects and technical oversight of newer engineers, will not be expected to manage other engineers people-wise just have the ability to mentor them and make sure they are completing tasks for project they are driving to completion.

• 40 hour work week
• Responsibilities
  • Programming PLC code
  • Working with tracking systems, sortation systems, and conveyor control
  • HMI programming PanelView ME/SE - concept design and planning, complex macro driven screen functions, industry graphic design
  • Networking - Ethernet/IP, plant floor networking and configuration, debugging, virtual network planning
  • VFD/Drive Systems, barcode scanning
  • Hardware Design - AutoCAD Electrical
• Travel
  • 25-30% travel. week out at a time typically, sometimes 2 weeks but very rare.
  • U.S. travel
  • Company vehicle

MUST HAVES:

• PLC programming - Rockwell
• HMI - PanelView
• VFD/drive systems
• ability to manage multiple projects and mentor others
• material handling
