What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Engineer position at Actalent?
Description:
The Materials /Project Engineer position will work directly with Engineer I, Engineer II, Engineer III, Lead Engineers and Principal Engineers to provide technical expertise in regard to material selection in the design and development of disposable medical devices from concept to finished product following all Design Control standards, guidelines and procedures. Responsible for assisting in the selection and qualification of materials for Engineering projects, creation/revision of drawings, specifications, manufacturing routers. Responsible for reviewing specification change requests and determining material and product testing required to support the revision.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering discipline is required - biomedical, polymers, materials, etc
- Ability to follow process/procedures in regulated environment
- Experience with polymers or similar materials selection from a biocompatibility standpoint
