Job Description
As a Project Engineer, you will deliver efficient and cost-effective automated material handling solutions for warehouse, industrial, and manufacturing sectors, meeting customer and end-user requirements. Your role will involve coordinating engineering and technical project aspects, including product and solution research, costing, engineering development, problem-solving, and model designing execution. You will adapt and improve existing engineering designs, provide technical support to various teams, and develop relationships with customers to understand their operational needs. This position requires up to 30% travel, including international trips, primarily to Japan and Canada, for project confirmation and equipment inspections.
Hard Skills
- CAD (AutoCAD and Solidworks) - nice to have
- Experience with conveyor systems design/control
- Understanding of Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV) and Warehouse Management/Control Software systems
- Project design/tracking software (e.g., Microsoft Project)
- Customer Relationship Management systems (e.g., SalesForce CRM)
- Ability to develop Mechanical and Electrical RFQs
- Solid understanding of system schematics and electrical engineering codes
- Functional knowledge of software platforms related to industrial automation
