Project Engineer

Actalent is seeking a Project Engineer near Maryville, TN for a 12-month contract opportunity. The plant is moving some of its equipment to a different facility, and this role would be involved in managing that project, as well as doing engineering activities. This position will still be a W2 position and offer full benefits, plus paid vacation. The role would have an opportunity to get extended or turn into a permanent role if the candidate wished to stay long-term.

Responsibilities:

·       Project manage the movement of equipment to another facility.

·       Coordinate with other plant and engineers to ensure that the equipment is being moved out of facility on time.

·       Utilize AutoCAD to perform layout design of the current facility as equipment is being moved out of the facility.

·       Continuous improvement of current processes for the equipment that is staying in the facility.

·       Other assigned engineering tasks.

Requirements:

·       BS in Engineering field or relevant experience

·       5 years of experience

·       Previous project management experience

·       Experience using AutoCAD
