Project Lead

Description:

• Oversee equipment function and line flow of assigned area.

• Continuous development of self, colleagues and team through training and mentoring to proactively improve areas of management expertise for personal and team growth.

• Evaluate and ensure management of critical production issues (down time, quality and safety issues etc.) for allocation of resources and appropriate action is taken in a timely manner.

• Evaluate and assess concerns identified by team to help or guide them to address or correct and resolve issues utilizing PDCA.

• Monitor daily conditions by reviewing daily reports to manage department outflow.

• Manage projects for business plan and new model

• Manage required organizational resources (manpower, structure, budget) necessary to achieve operational expectations.

• Collaborate in the development of Business Plan Strategy and new technologies or model introductions to improve production characteristics and ensure voice of the floor is heard.

Skills:

Project management, Sap, capex, continuous improvement

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

 Bachelor’s degree in engineering or engineering technology (e.g., mechanical, electrical, manufacturing, industrial and robotics) or other equivalent related experience.

 Minimum 3 years paint experience

 Experience in managing projects

 Lead follow-up on daily line performance and countermeasure areas of concern

 Develop / define strategy to achieve unit and company initiative

 Leadership and development of other levels, ability to push limit / challenge

 Evaluate and lead business planning (Justification for resources)

 Determine budget and schedule activity needed to improve operations
