Protection And Control Engineer

Actalent is looking for a Remote Protection and Control Engineer to join their team!

Description:

·       Pay is dependent on experience; $52 ­­­­­- $89 per hour ($108k - $185k; If you have previous experience, pay is negotiable

·       Would be supporting the Des Moines, IA office

·       Individuals with 8 years of experience can be fully remote

·       Must have PE license

Job Responsibilities:

·       Experience in high voltage substation and transmission system protection schemes for utility or generation clients

·       The design of any/all of the following: high voltage one line and three-line diagrams

·       Current and potential protection schemes, computer modeling/analysis of electrical systems

·       Preparation of specifications for equipment and systems

·       Report preparation

·       Applying codes and standards, and performing and reviewing design computations

Skills and Qualifications:

·       BS in Electrical Engineering

·       Relevant experience with electric utility substations up to 345kV

·       PE license required
