QA/QC Lab Technician

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Shift: 11:30 PM-7:00 AM Monday-Friday (For approximately 2 months) then Fri, Sat, and Sun 6pm-6:30am

Pay: $25 / hr

Description:

- Collect and test samples of ingredients, products or packages according to established procedures

- Monitor processes to ensure they are operating correctly and consistently

- Document all results neatly and precisely

- Label and maintain product retention samples used to monitor the product throughout the established shelf life

- Organize collected data for management review

- Test R&D samples for food safety & specification development

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Associates Degree in Science.
• Need to be comfortable working in a manufacturing and lab environment.
• Strongly prefer prior food experience and must have long term interest in Food Science!
