What are the responsibilities and job description for the QC Analyst III position at Actalent?
Description:
- Perform quality control tests and assays on raw materials, in-processing samples including USP and EP guidelines.
- Effectively utilize and troubleshoot analytical instrumentation such as High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (PLC), Gas Chromatography (GC), FTIR, Osmolality, pH, Raman, UV/Vis, Autotitrator, Melting point etc.
- Complete all testing, including special project / protocol testing in a timely and appropriate manner.
- Conduct, document and follow up on assay issues, failures and investigations.
- Maintain data in manual or computer-based logs following GDPs.
- Maintain data integrity and ensure compliance with company SOPs and specifications, cGMP regulations.
- Revise Standard Operation Procedures as needed.
- Support and potentially lead continuous improvement projects in the QC Laboratories such as 6S.
- Maintain laboratory reagent inventory.
- Serve as Mentor to Quality Control Analyst positions. Provide training and work directions.
