They have 16 global facilities with over 2,300 employees and predominantly support the automotive, energy, industrial, and commercial and residential industries. With over 120 years of experience in the magnet wire industry, they have continually expanded their innovations into new applications and industries. Due to the growth of the EV (electric vehicle) market, they have expanded to Franklin, IN a new 60,000 square foot facility. The individual in this role will be at the chemical processing facility conducting quality assurance/quality control responsibilities.
Job Description:
-Performs inspection and analysis of raw materials and chemical products to assure adherence to specification.
-Performs a range of tests of such complexity that attention to detail is imperative.
-Reads, understands and uses detailed instructions; performs testing; enters data, presents data, prepares reports or charts to report test results.
-Requires the use of chemical testing equipment and measuring instruments.
-Assists technicians, engineers and management to analyze, solve and correct problems.
-Uses computer programs, quality systems, and tools. The person in this position is highly involved in the quality management system.
-Use all tools and equipment in the preparation of and processes of manufacturing products produced at the Chemical Processing Plant.
-Follow all procedures, methods and guidelines to assure quality, safety and production goals are met.
-Enters records or writes up data for company reports.
-Communicates effectively with supervisors and co-workers to give and receive information while maintaining positive working relationships.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Must Have:
High School Diploma
2-3 Years experience within quality assurance / quality control lab tech roles.
Experience with basic lab techniques
Written and verbal communication skills.
Strong working knowledge of computers.
Knowledge of Quality Systems (ISO/QS/TS.)
High attention to detail, organized, above average mechanical skills. Good analytical & problem solving skills.
