Description:
- Coordinate with project team members to ensure all work complies with contract requirements and work to minimize quality issues
- Coordinate with subcontractors on project for successful completion of project requirements and scheduling
- Maintain organized program records that document all activities that are completed in compliance
- Review project design documents and provide feedback to team regarding any issues
- Assist project teams with change modifications with installations
- Confirm systems are operating as intended prior to final completion
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Per the contract requirements:
The CQC Manager, must either:
- Have a degree in engineering, architecture or construction management and at least 5 years construction experience on similar work, or
- Be a construction person with a minimum of 10 years in related quality management work without degree
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management with a minimum of 5 years related experience
- In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 10 years documented experience in related federal construction projects is acceptable
- Expertise in construction industry best practices, procedures, concepts, and an overall understanding of construction contracts and documentation
- Army Corps of Engineers Construction Quality Management (CQM) certification highly desirable
- Experience with various Federal quality control programs and their requirements is preferred
- EM-385 or OSHA 30 is desired
- Ability to obtain specialized certification or licensing dependent on Company and Project requirements
- Flexibility to work extended work hours to meet deadlines
