What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Engineer position at Actalent?
Description:
-Implement Quality Planning for Incoming, In process and Final Inspection.
-Analyze and resolve quality issues based on quality tools. Work in Continuous Improvement and 6-Sigma teams with other personnel to resolve issues.
-Track and facilitate MRB activity, corrective actions and return goods. Work with other departments, customers and suppliers to find root causes and corrections.
-Maintain the calibration of equipment in the Quality department.
-Complete FAIR's and other inspections.
-Currently working with a lot of new products so will be responsible for CMM Programming / troubleshooting
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
2 years of experience required
Experience needs to include handling corrective actions, first article inspection, reading blue prints and FMEA's
Should have some knowledge of Quality Systems and Auditing
Good communication skills a must
