Join our Quality team to oversee inspection and quality control processes for raw materials, in-process items, and finished products, ensuring adherence to our high standards.
- Ensure our products meet customer specifications, industry standards, regulatory requirements, and Plexus standards. Verify that ABIs comply with all relevant specifications and standards.
- Support the creation and execution of qualification and validation protocols (e.g., IQ/OQ/PQ) to ensure compliance with Master Validation Plans.
- Lead the development of inspection strategies for incoming/receiving, in-process manufacturing, and pre-shipment inspections by participating in NPI meetings.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers regarding quality-related issues, including specification inquiries.
- Assist in addressing customer quality concerns, including complaints, disclosures, and inquiries.
- Collaborate with Product, Manufacturing, and Process Engineers, as well as other SMEs, to resolve customer quality issues.
- Lead the development of CAPA in response to customer requests, create customer-defined quality reports, and provide necessary feedback and documentation.
- Support the company's goal of enhancing manufacturing quality and efficiency by conducting or assigning inspections, evaluating results and processes, and proposing improvements based on findings.
- Effectively manage team workloads by leveraging team skills and strengths, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Lead, motivate, and optimize team efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure all equipment used for product acceptance is calibrated and properly maintained.
- Maintain constant communication with the General Manager regarding issues and concerns.
- Conduct regular inspections of raw materials, in-process items, and finished products.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures and standards.
- Analyze quality control test results and provide feedback to production teams.
- Investigate and resolve quality issues and customer complaints.
- Prepare and maintain quality documentation and reports.
- Train and mentor team members on quality control processes and standards.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in quality engineering or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of quality control standards and regulatory requirements.
- Experience with qualification and validation protocols (IQ/OQ/PQ).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Proficiency in using quality management software and tools.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
