Job Description
- Develop new or improved products or processes and manage all aspects of the development process including resource planning and budgeting.
- Directs product develop and product quality improvement initiatives and supports field sales personnel and customers, including resolving product quality complaints.
- Reports directly to the Mill Manager and has responsibility for approximately 6 quality technicians.
- Works closely with 3 Paper Machine Managers to support day-to-day operations and developing long term improvement strategies to drive results in all aspects of the business.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- 8-10 years plus in the Paper Industry
- Paper Science or Chemical Engineering degree preferred
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- SAP experience is a plus
- ParcView/Pi experience is a plus
- Good interpersonal skills; ability to positively influence people
- Good organizational skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
