Job Title: Lab Technician
Job Description
As a Lab Technician, you will be working in a balanced environment, splitting your time 50/50 between the plant floor and a lab setting. Your main duties will include conducting inspections such as Pre-Operative and Food Safety, performing daily operating inspections to ensure compliance with GMP's and USDA requirements, and performing Magnet and Metal Detector Record Checks.
Hard Skills

- Conduct ATP swab tests
- Perform Quality Audits
- Liaison with USDA
Soft Skills

Qualifications:
- B.S. in Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology or related Life Science
- Associates Degree
- High School Diploma/GED (Required)
- GMP experience
Work Environment
This role requires you to work in a 50/50 lab setting and plant floor where frozen pizza is made. Please be aware that this is a cold environment! The role also involves more computer-based tasks such as approving before making, and conducting lab tests including salt, pH, yeast, mold, air plates, and ATP testing.
