What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Technician position at Actalent?
Description:
Inspects raw materials, work-in-progress parts, and completed products to identify defects, deviations, and quality control issue
Recommends corrective actions, tracks and monitors performance and provides feedback or training as required
Reports findings and recommendations to production or quality managers, and documents inspection results for internal and client use
Participates in root cause investigations and other continuous improvement activities and support lean initiatives to enhance quality and reduce defects
Develops and maintains quality control documentation and ensure that it meets AS9100 or ISO 9001 Standards as required
Conducts data analysis, monitors key parameters and utilize statistical process control tools to identify trends, reduce variation and improve process control
