What are the responsibilities and job description for the R&D Lab Technician position at Actalent?
This is a materials research and development lab seeking to add
an R&D Analytical Technician as the team continues to grow. This person
will be responsible for testing raw materials for a prototype product, using
Microsoft Word and Excel to document and track data. They also will be writing
new and editing current work instructions for a R&D Pilot Line.
Description:
- Located on the Pilot line, material testing (testing and measuring raw materials utilized to make a glass product), following SOPs, gathering data and creating reports, root cause analysis and ideally an understanding of "how things come together" on the line and how that is related to product testing.
- Create reports (heavy with Microsoft word and excel / graphs and charts) with testing results and analyze data.
- Will be responsible for writing new or adapting current work instructions based on the changing and evolving pilot line.

Qualifications:
Associate or Bachelor in science or chemistry related field
Shift:
Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm
