Description:
This position will be responsible for leading or supporting various activities within Operations. Manages the successful execution of Operations deliverables as part of a cross-functional core team for New Product Development under Design Control and Technology Transfer internally or externally with other Luminex business units. Plans and executes investigations for NCRs/NCMRs, CAPAs or production trouble Shooting. Maintain broad knowledge of state-of-the-art principles and theories. Interfaces with various departments. Uses professional concepts and relationships to contribute to the development and completion of company goals and objectives in creative and effective ways. Supports all applicable regulations including but not limited to FDA, ISO, and CMD/CAS requirements. • Design Transfer from R&D to Manufacturing ensuring design for manufacturability • QC method development • Ensure operational readiness for validation and launch • Independently design, write and perform validations and transfer process modifications to Manufacturing processes • Lead or participate in root cause analysis for production issues, non-conformances and CAPAs • Maintains a laboratory notebook and writes technical reports. • Modifies Manufacturing Specifications as appropriate • Troubleshoots technical issues concerning internal and external customers with a high degree of focused urgency. • Responsible for training technicians in technical support and other departments as necessary • Responsible for performing assigned tasks in accordance with applicable Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) regulations and Company EHS policies. Violations of EHS regulations or policies will be handled in accordance with the established Company disciplinary process.
