What are the responsibilities and job description for the R&D Technician position at Actalent?
Description:
• This R&D Technician would be assisting with the development of the 2nd generation Carpel Tunnel Device that is planning to launch Q1 of 2024. This person will be working along side a lead engineer to provide accurate and efficient results.
• This role will be responsible for Design Verification by tensile testing, compression testing, materials testing, prototype testing, as well as documenting these findings.
• This person will be hands on with prototypes and will be assisting with continuous improvement by using 3D printing.
• This role will be responsible for assisting in other departments if needed, ie. line validation and supply chain.
• This role will be mainly working in the R&D lab, welding and microscope use may be needed.
