Radiologic Technologist

Description:

Performs routine and minor special radiographic procedures. Operates auxiliary equipment including, but not limited to: cameras, recorders and processors. Administers contrast materials as dictated by exam protocols.

• Operates all radiographic and ancillary equipment associated with the performance or routine and minor special radiographic procedures.
• Utilizes proper radiographic and positioning techniques in order to maximize radiographic quality and to minimize repeat images. Must appropriately label radiographs, record pertinent clinical information and identify trauma sites
• Assists radiologist and other physicians
• Accessing, entering and retrieving information from MIS is required

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Associates Degree from an accredited certification program in Radiologic Technology
• Licensure to be eligible to practice as a Licensed Radiographer in the State of Wisconsin
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (A.R.R.T)
• 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist
