This is a fully remote position based in Michigan.
This is a 9 month contract-to-hire position with benefits including medical, dental, vision, etc., 401k, PTO offered during contract duration.
Due to the nature of the work, must have or be eligible for a Department of Defense Security Clearance.
Description:
-We are seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer. The lead will have experience within CI/CD, expert knowledge of Agile framework, and the ability to assess current workflows to provide direction on gaps identified.
Responsibilities:
- Support development and maintenance of current, established process
- Provide insight and direction on new ways of continuous development and workflows
- Act as agile coach in scrum meetings
- Advocate for partner stakeholders
- Assess current state on build, release, testing, integration , deployment and provide direction as to where gaps lie
- Work directly with customers and various stakeholders to build bridges on how to most effectively/efficiently move forward

-CI/CD - experience with continuous improvement, testing and delivery
-Agile - Experience transforming, facilitating transition from Waterfall to Agile methodologies
-Experience with automation activities within the software development lifecycle.
-Understanding SW dev process - how we build, how we code, how we release, what’s our testing plan, how do we deploy, how do we integrate
